Scan the QR cards with your camera and play the song in Apple Music.

Scan the card, guess the year, artist, and title. If you place the card in the correct chronological order, it’s yours!

Play Cardless

In this game mode you can play without the physical cards! Get to know a Hitster edition before you play it, or buy it. The possibilities and occasions that make this a great experience are plenty. All the supported Hitster editions are also available in Cardless!

Use your own playlist

You went through all the Hitster editions and still want more? Beatster has you covered. Pick any playlist in your Apple Music library and use it to play in Cardless mode. Create a playlist to play for your specific genre or occasion. Get together with friends and let each one contribute to the songs that will be in play.

This app is absolutely a must if you want to play Hitster. Works perfectly with Apple Music. The original app from Jumbo only throws error messages. If I were Jumbo I would have paid the developer a hefty sum to take over the app to make Hitster an even bigger success. You are a star and thank you for making a perfect app!

Is there some way I can contribute to the development of Beatster?

Yes certainly. The easiest way to help is by telling what features you would like to have in Beatster. Or if you find any bugs, please report them.

I get a “Song unavailable” with a card, now what?

Sometimes songs or albums are removed from Apple Music. You might have seen this with your own playlists. Beatster is no exception. However, usually the same song is still available on a different album. Please report the card number and the Hitster set and I will link it to an available edition of the song and put it in the next update of Beatster.

What if I get “Unrecognized card”?

Perhaps you scanned a card from a Hitster edition that is not yet supported in Beatster. The app knows many editions, and more are being added. Please look in the App Store description, or in the settings in the app if your set is already supported. If your favorite edition is not in there, please let me know. Maybe I can help out and add the set.

Is my Hister edition supported?

Beatster supports many Hitster editions, and more are continuously being added. Please look in the App Store description for an up-to-date list of supported editions. Also in the app settings you can find the list of recognized Hitster editions. Is your favorite edition not in there? Please let me know, perhaps I can help out and add the set.
